Two tools were utilized; 1st tool: Structured Interview questionnaire include's personal characteristics and 2nd tool was: Chronic Liver Disease questionnaire (CLDQ) for assessing patients' Quality of life. Results: Around half of the studied sample had moderate impairment of QOL. There was a relationship between QOL & chronic liver diseases. It has a significant impact on the QOL for elderly patient. Conclusion: Chronic liver diseases have significant negative impact on the QOL among elderly patients in relation to abdominal symptoms, fatigue, systemic symptoms, activity and emotional function. Recommendations: Health educational programs should be initiated to increase knowledge among elderly patients about CLDs and its adverse effects on the elderly quality of life.https://asnj.journals.ekb.eg/article_155447_3689c9f37628e693559c5ebebf7f7144.pdfAssiut University, Faculty of NursingAssiut Scientific Nursing Journal2314-8845924.020210301Quality of life and its relation with treatment compliance among schizophrenic patients81715770810.21608/asnj.2021.60685.1115ENSharbat MMohamedpsychiatric nursing department, faculty of nursing, assuit university, assuit, Egypt.Yasser M.ElSerogy. The current study aimed to evaluate diabetic patients' foot perfusion and their pain level after applying Buerger-Allen exercises. Subjects & methods: Quasi-experimental research design was used on a purposive sample of 100 type II diabetic patient in the General medical department and diabetic out-patient clinic, at Minia university hospital. Patients' interview questionnair, Ankle-brachial Index test and Numerical pain rating scale were used as tools for data collection. Results: There were highly statistically significant differences between the study group and control group regard Ankle-brachial Index measurements only post-application of Buerger-Allen exercises for six weeks (p ≤ 0.004). Moreover, results stated that the highest percentage (54.0%) among the study group who had moderate pain pre-application exercises but after they were performed exercises, their pain description became mild or no pain constituted (50.0% & 20.0%) respectively with highly statistical significant. Conclusion: Buerger-Allen exercise was efficient for improvement of lower peripheral arterial perfusion and there are highly statistically significant improvements in pain level among the study group. Recommendations: Diabetic patient must attend health education sessions based on evidence guidelines regard Buerger-Allen exercise which had a positive effect on the improvement of lower peripheral circulation.https://asnj.journals.ekb.eg/article_170936_f2a002437326b8d886ef30f3e5f8d22b.pdfAssiut University, Faculty of NursingAssiut Scientific Nursing Journal2314-8845924.020210301Nurse Managers’ perception and Attitudes toward Using Artificial Intelligence Technology in Health Settings18219217500110.21608/asnj.2021.72740.1159ENWessam AhmedElsayedAssistant professor of Nursing Administration, Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, Egypt.Wafaa FathiSleemProfessor of Nursing Administration, Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, EgyptJournal Article20210417Abstract Background: Despite the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare continues to generate increasing interest, health sector employees still have mixed attitudes and perception regarding the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. Subjects and Method: pre / post-test utilized to conduct this study. This study was carried out in the internal medicine department and out patient diabetic clinic, at Assiut University Hospital. Sample convenience sample of (60) adult patients from both sexes their age ranged from (18-65yrs old.). Tools: tool (1): Patient Assessment Questioner. Tool (II): diabetic self- management scale questionnaire. Self- management training for patient with diabetic foot was developed based on patients identified needs. Results: the mean age of patients was 51.4 +12.6 years old. Three quarter of patient had poor knowledge, while after implementation of the self- management training, more than two third of patients had satisfactory level of knowledge about the management of diabetic foot. Tool An interviewing questioner covers three parts: part 1, Personal data, and part 2: assessment of digital transformation during COVID-19, and part 3: the ability to compliance with digital transformation. Results: Less than two thirds of study sample were satisfied by the experience of distance learning during COVID-19 pandemic and perceived that faculties of nursing are able to be digitally transformed. Conclusion: There is a highly statistical significant difference regarding learning experience during the pandemic in relation to digital transformation ability, so faculties of nursing has to analyze its situation abilities, resources and facilities needed for digital transformation.
